Description: (Amazon.com) Get ready for a holiday season you'll never forget with three of today's most sensational writers who know what every woman wants for the holidays. You'll believe in Santa all over again with these seductive stories:
--------------------
Hot Toy
(Story 1 of 3)
Author: Jennifer Cruise
Characters: 3 out of 5
Plot: 2 out of 5
Overall: 2 out of 5
Description: Mayhem ensues under the mistletoe as a determined shopper grabs the very last hot toy action figure off the shelf, only to find herself plunged into the middle of a real-life spy game--in the arms of a sexy secret agent...
From My Point of View: This was my least favorite story in the book. I thought the plot was a joke and the characters were just weird. I did enjoy Trudy's enthusiasm and dedication to her nephew, which brought some much needed reality to the store, but all-in-all this was not the novella for me.
--------------------
Christmas Bonus
(Story 2 of 3)
Author: Lori Foster
Characters: 4 out of 5
Plot: 5 out of 5
Overall: 5 out of 5
Description: Two dedicated coworkers with a lot of secrets (and fantasies!) between them must plan a Christmas party side by side--and discover a love worth celebrating--in this steamy office romance.
From My Point of View: This was the best story in the book. I adored everything about this novella. The characters were cute and quirky. The romance was steamy. And the writing was really well done. This was a perfect holiday read! I will definitely be looking up this author in the future.
--------------------
Naughty Under the Mistletoe
(Story 3 of 3)
Author: Carly Phillips
Characters: 4 out of 5
Plot: 4 out of 5
Overall: 4 out of 5
Description: A "mistletoe moment" begins when a no-nonsense lawyer intent on seducing her boss meets his twin instead--after giving him a scintillating kiss that leaves him begging for more. . .
From My Point of View: I thought this story was OK. It moved really fast for me, but other than that, it was well written. The characters, again here, were very cute. I loved how this author fit a full plot line into the novella. It made this story much more interesting.
--------------------
Santa Baby
Characters: 3 out of 5
Plot: 3 out of 5
Overall: 3 out of 5
From My Point of View: Overall this was a pretty good book. The second and third story were good enough for me to make up for the short comings of the first novella. If you're looking for a holiday treat, this book is an excellent choice.
